It is important to feel relaxed during the preparations on your wedding day and Leesa understands how vital it is to be prepared and to make the bride and her bridal party feel pampered and special. Leesa will be there to support and provide all the finishing touches required, ensuring your day starts in the best possible way.
Trial
A trial is a fundamental stage in ensuring you look and feel every inch the princess we all want to feel on our wedding day. In the comfortable surroundings of your own home, Leesa will talk through any ideas that you have for your big day whilst offering advice and support to achieve your perfect look. Whether you prefer the more natural look or something more glamorous, Leesa will be there to make sure you look and feel your best.
Bridal make up trials usually take place between 8 – 12 weeks before your wedding but Leesa is flexible in this regard and your requirements can easily be catered for. Want you trial sooner, no problem.
Trials typically take between 1 and 2 hours and can include any bridesmaid’s that wish to be pampered, and of course Mothers and future Mother in Laws too, adding approx 45 minutes per additional member of the bridal party. The trial will need to take place during daylight hours to ensure a perfect colour match as natural light is preferable to ensure a smooth and flawless finish.
It can also be a good idea to look at and collate pictures and photographs to get an idea of the bridal make up that you would like to achieve, especially if you are aiming for something a little special. Please feel free to show them to Leesa at your trial as this helps build an accurate picture of the look you wish to achieve on your big day. Swatches of the bridesmaid’s dresses are also useful but not necessary.
Leesa will make a full and complete record of all the products she uses during your trail, and the techniques used to make sure that your make up is perfect on your wedding day and an exact re-creation of your trial. This will also be backed up with a digital photo for Leesa to refer back to.
Wedding Day
On your big day, in the midst of all the excitement of your impending nuptials, Leesa will set about making your bridesmaids and Mum’s look every inch the beautiful and proud bridal party and will then move onto the most important person of the day, ensuring that you look and feel the part.
Your hair will ideally be styled prior to your make up but Leesa will liaise with your hairdresser prior to your wedding day to work out a smooth and relaxed order of events. One thing you do not need to worry about!
Leesa normally allows 30 – 45 minutes per bridal party member having their makeup done and 1 hour for the blushing bride
Booking and Deposit
To make an enquiry about booking Leesa for your wedding day, please go the ‘Contact Leesa’ page and fill in your details, including your wedding date and time, and any other relevant information that will assist Leesa in providing you with a quote and confirmation of her availability for your wedding day.
In order to secure your wedding day, a non-refundable booking fee of £20 is required in advance. This will be deducted from the cost of your trial.
Once your trial is complete and you are happy with your make up, a deposit of 50% per person requiring wedding makeup must be paid in advance. If any of the wedding party cancel their booking before the wedding day, their deposit will unfortunately be lost. Final payment can be made on the wedding day or before if required and can be made via cash or cheque.
